This page offers free downloads of materials that are focused on inclusion of People of Determination (POD also knows as People With Disabilities, PWD, in countries outside UAE). All content was created and developed through Um Ilyas's journey raising awareness for her autistic son and she hopes that everyone around the world can benefit from these educational and inspirational materials! 

1. Ilyas turns 5

This is a booklet of 10 internal pages, plus the front and back covers. Each spread (5  total) has a right page of information describing autism in simple language, and the left page of the spread has an activity for children to enjoy while linking the information learnt on the right in a fun way!  

  • Suitable for ages 5 years and older. 

  • Available in Arabic and English as editable PowerPoint slides (change name/pronouns, date, games, etc.). 

  • Best printed on A4 (6 papers total), landscape orientation, double sided and flips on short edge, then staple down the middle (the spine of the booklet).

2. Ilyas eats healthy

Two placemats in a fun colorful and engaging design. Once printed in A3 size they make for perfect setting on which to pop a plate and to enjoy learning about foods while waiting for food to come or to cool down. Children may circle the foods that are good for brain's health and identify the evil foods that contain processed gluten and sugars. The second placemat offers an opportunity for fine motor skills by sticking the fruits in their spots on the watermelon cake. 

  • Suitable for all ages. 

  • Available in PowerPoint of 3 slides (2 placemats and the third contains fruit stickers to match on the second placemat's watermelon cake). Images are non-editable, but the texts can be rewritten. 

  • Best printed on A3 size paper, extra step is to laminate for extended use. Give with crayons for paper, or whiteboard markers with laminated version.

3. Ilyas signs the national anthem

Illustrations of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) national anthem sung by an Emirati boy Character who is also moving his hands in Arabic Sign Language. These images offer a great way to learn the national anthem whether you speak Arabic or not. 

  • Suitable for ages 6 years and older. 

  • Available in pdf pages, non-editable. 

  • Best printed on A4 paper, single or double-sided, and bound or stapled to ensure the readers follow the order of the song.

4. Ilyas reads a prayer

A binder booklet, made of 8 slides (4 back-to-back laminated pages) that is a beautiful read between mother and her child to encourage prayers. Watch my video that shows you how to turn paper into beautiful pages with crocheted frame soft on your child's hands. 

  • Suitable for reading to 2 years and older, DIYers at 11 years and older .

  • Available as downloadable PowerPoint in English, editable. 

  • Best printed in A4 size, slide with notes layout, double-sided flip on long edge, then laminated and punched around the edges to thread the yarn as shown in video here.

5. A to Z of Neurodiversity

A coloring book that will enrich your vocabulary for words in the neurodivergent and disabilities universe. Enjoy coloring and learning!

  • Suitable for 10 years and older. 

  • Available as pdf pages in English, non-editable. 

  • Best printed in A4 or A5 size and bound as an educational booklet.
